Looking back on the years since starting this blog, I can see how the journey has been far more stretching, beautiful, and surprising than I ever expected.
And I’m so thankful.

These pages are rough and real, and I’ve decided to leave all of it here. The stories are tender at times, and bitter at times.
Sometimes compassionate, sometimes awkward. But I figure, we need a little more documenting of the messy beginnings.
So take courage, friend, and join me.

This blog began at the end of one journey and the beginning of another. I had just come back to life after over a decade of depression, and I was setting out on a new adventure: discovering who I really was. The early posts? They’re clunky. Unpolished. Long-winded and emotional in places. Humble beginnings—maybe even a little assumptive—but still, they were beginnings.
You’ll find gaps and messy places here. I’m still learning. We’re learning together. I’m glad you’re here.
