Courageously Becoming
An invitation to boldly step beyond the boxes and into who you really are

Current Update December 2025: The manuscript is written, the study has been led– and the book needs some love and polishing. I promise I haven’t quit, and I’m itching to get it out!
It’s not a perfectionism thing, it’s a heartfelt message thing. I want to honor the message the Lord has been pulling at by giving it space to mature. I’m taking December to contemplate, pray, receive, and reflect, but will be back at it in January!
A little about the book:
You were never meant to be everything for everyone.
You were meant to be you—and that is more than enough.
Courageously Becoming is a book, but more than that, it’s an invitation to unravel the roles, labels, and expectations you’ve carried for far too long—and discover who you truly are beneath them all.
This isn’t about striving harder or fixing yourself. It’s about slowing down, getting honest, and letting God speak into the places that have been hidden, exhausted, or defined by others. Through real stories, Scripture, and soul-deep reflection, you’ll be reminded:
You don’t have to earn your identity.
You just have to receive it—from the One who sees you, knows you, and calls you by name.
Whether you’re in the middle of a breakdown, a breakthrough, or a brand-new beginning, you don’t have to figure it out alone. Let this book walk with you—into truth, freedom, and grace.
We just finished our first book study!
I want to thank each of you who joined me in going through the material, reading the book in it’s heartfelt form, and helping me expand and learn so much about the process.
You have no idea how much it meant to me that you showed up in the messy, and trusted me in that space. It was the most amazing, humbling, and intense 9 weeks of beauty.
I’m taking it all to heart, and working in so much more clarity as I shape the message.
I will update you all as things move again!

This is the book I wish I had 10 years ago. While I am grateful for the journey, thankful for the struggle, and in awe of all the Lord has done; these are the pages I wish I could have held. I hope that they are a hand reaching into the mud to help you up, the friend listening to your story without judgment, and the big sister calling you up and back into your life.
Identity is a tender topic, vast and wide, that provides the foundation for a well lived life. Every question cannot be answered or explored in one book. Not well anyway. But I hope this book leads to the questions that call you more deeply into relationship with the one who holds the blueprints of your soul. You deserve space here. You are worth seeing. And that secret hope that something bigger is waiting for you– it’s right. There’s so much more.

“Cassie doesn’t just write words—she opens doors to healing.”
“This book gave language to the silent battles I didn’t know how to name.”
“Courageous Identity spoke directly to my soul. With raw vulnerability, deep wisdom, and holy resilience, Cassie invites us into a deep exchange: lies for truth, shame for identity, striving for restoration, exchanging our “patches” for God’s passionate love and grace. Every chapter felt like a gentle unveiling of who I truly am in Christ. Cassie speaks directly to you with tenderness, compassion, as a woman who has walked this path and come to the other side. This isn’t just a book on identity – it’s a healing encounter.”
