Speaking Events:
Hey friends,
I love to share my story, and the lessons I’ve learned along the way. Too many of us are stuck in the caves that we call safety, and its not where we are meant to be! God has so much more for us– and we have gifts to use and not bury! (Matthew 25:14-30)
I have left my own depression-cave behind, and I’m coming to knock on yours. I speak on overcoming depression and anxiety from a testimony standpoint (not medical advice), faith, overcoming trials, mindset, and finding freedom through Christ. I would love to speak at your event and meet your people. It’s amazing to me what the Lord can do with our “yes!”
Please message me if you would like to contact me about speaking or sharing at an event!

I have spoken at several conferences and events over the years and enjoy hearing the stories of others who have traveled similar paths. I had the incredible opportunity to share at the Worldcast Ministries conference in July of 2023 on “Music, Songwriting, and Your Story.” I was also honored to be on the podcast “The Word is Krystle Clear“
When I was first healed of depression and anxiety I told the Lord I never wanted to speak of it again. As I have encountered people in the time since I have realized that the hard things we walk through equip us to lock arms with others going through the same.

Preface: A letter to the reader
If we could sit down for coffee and probably talk too much. I would buy your cup of coffee while you weren’t looking and casually tell you some mistake I made to help you feel comfortable. I would do my best to make space for your heart. As the small talk slowed and awkward silence began to grow, I would give you my best listening ear because you need to be heard.
I would pray for you inwardly and wait for the Lord to lead. Knowing that I have been on the journey you were just starting, I would be intentional with my answers and vulnerable with my story. This is a mountain-top journey that requires good company. Finding identity and uncovering wrong turns is difficult and it takes bravery. I would know that you showing up was as much bravery as you could gather and would lend you some of mine.
We aren’t in a coffee shop, and I can’t give you a hug or eye contact directly, but I can share some words before we go on this book journey together. I know them to be true. You have so much to offer. You are trapped in all the things that could go wrong and it is keeping you from truly living.
Your identity isn’t in the things you have done wrong or the things that you have done right. Maybe you already know that because nothing fits and everything makes you feel more isolated. Somewhere along the way the idea, “you aren’t worthy until you make up for your mistakes” has become part of your ‘mode of operation.’ You don’t trust God’s forgiveness and you don’t trust God’s words that you belong to him.
It is time to let go of that suffocating blanket that binds you. It’s time to step into the light and let yourself breathe for maybe what feels like the first time. God created you for something more than self-condemnation and shame. You have been trapped for far too long in dark isolation and it is time for you to declare your name as God called you.
Maybe you’ve been looking for the truth and a way out. Maybe you have tried things before. This is different because it isn’t about building, it’s about uncovering what has been there all along. You are surrounded by counterfeit truths that have promised you so much but failed to deliver. I want to teach you to recognize the truth. Some of these chapters may take longer to read through and apply than others. There’s no checklist and no homework. It can be as simple as a quick read, or as intentional as a guidebook. Maybe you need it to be a torch in the night. Maybe it is all three for you- take it slow or jump in with both feet. This is your journey and I’m cheering you on.
